Training Application: Lawyers for HIV & TB Justice

The Southern Africa Litigation Centre (SALC), HIV Justice Worldwide, the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), the Stop TB Partnership, the AIDS and Rights Alliance for Southern Africa (ARASA), and the Kenya Legal & Ethical Issues Network on HIV and AIDS (KELIN) are hosting a training for lawyers on strategic litigation, legal defense and advocacy on HIV and TB justice from 20-23 February 2018 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The training offers an exciting opportunity to develop critical knowledge and skills with leading international experts on HIV and TB criminalisation and human rights.

We invite applications from lawyers in Africa with 3+ years’ experience and an interest in human rights and HIV and TB. The training will be conducted in English with simultaneous translation in French and Portuguese as required.

Applications are made by completing the application form below and submitting it to applications@salc.org.za before 31 October 2017.

Successful applicants will be notified by 20 November 2017.

There is no fee to attend the training and SALC will provide for applicants’ flights, accommodation and meals during the training. For more information, please consult the Concept Note and Frequently Asked Questions below.

Nous invitons les applications des avocats en Afrique avec 3+ ans d’expérience dans la pratique et un intérêt pour les droits humains, le HIV et la tuberculose.

Il n’y a aucun frais pour participer à la formation et SALC prévoira les vols, l’hébergement et repas pendant l’entrainement.
